The Monkees were formed in Los Angeles in 1965 by Bob Rafelson and Bert Schneider for the American television series The Monkees which aired from 1966 to 1968. The band have continued touring the past five decades.

Davy Jones
Davy hails from England and he is one of the founding member of the group. He is also its lead singer.
Micky Dolenz
The funny man of the group and one hell of a drummer. Micky was born in Los Angeles and he has been playing the drums since the age of 4.
Michael Nesmith
Michael was born in Houston Texas. He always wears a hat and he is the lead guitarist with the group
Peter Tork
Peter was born in Washington D.C. He has played the piano from a very young age. He is the keyboardist and bass guitarist of the Monkees
